I never thought of using Paint like that.. the different color thing. It makes it alot easier to see the different parts of the sprite...

what might also work is going to "edit image" and selecting the option to show it at it's original size....because for some reason DA likes to resize certain images o_O;

Nice, but the thing that bugs me most is how the sprite goes from very incomplete (no face, hair) to suddenly HAVING a face and hair with no show of how you did it. Also, the pixelated text makes my eyes hurt to read. :\

Well to be honest, I saved some steps of progress myself while making the sprite to show to Seel, I always forget to do it when working on something without it really "being for someone" and sadly, I only saved the progress of two sprites, this one had most steps, thus showed most of what was happening.

I'll add some real tutorials that actually give proper reasons for why I do things soon simply for the fact that I've really haven't come across a lot of tutorials that teach good art, yet alone basic fundamentals (mostly tutorials that tell you "how to shade" a sprite without explaining the need of lightsources, and there appears to be absolutely no emphasis on how to get good solid lineart without having to scan in a picture anywere)
