Resthill arc pixelcards: set 1 by Neoriceisgood
Resthill arc pixelcards: set 1
Finally got around to doing the first batch of pixelcards based on my pixelart webcomic Hero Oh Hero (found @ www.neorice.com)

Here's essentially every significant character from the first chunk of the resthill story arc.

I don't know why, but I find these really fun to create. Enjoy!

Pixelcards: The Strawhat Crew by Neoriceisgood
Pixelcards: The Strawhat Crew
Pixelcard renditions of the strawhat crew sprites I made/posted before. I might do versions with more tailored/unique backgrounds in the future some time.

Obviously these chars are the property of Oda, the creator of OP.

Pixelcards: Order of the Stick by Neoriceisgood
Pixelcards: Order of the Stick
Cause people seemed to like my neorice pixelcard I decided to make a few others, here's a first set of pixel cards that go together.

The Order of the Stick from the webcomic The Order of the Stick by Rich Burlew.

Obviously a lot of artistic interpretation because I based these sprites off of stick figure characters.

Y'know what I miss doing? Pixel cards!

My art style's shifted *a lot* since I used to do these, so I decided to completely redo the pixel card template and replace it with a new one.

I cut out a lot of the meaningless junk and simplified the card design a lot, also removed the numbering cause it's really arbitrary.

I remember at least a handful of watchers enjoying pixel cards, and I've always found them a more managable way to show off individual sprites.

So here's uh ... pixelcard me!

Yo!

1. A combination of two programs: All the pixelart is done in an older version of ms paint (I think vista, one before the ribbon stuff cause win 7/8 ms paint is really bad imo.)

The comic itself also uses various functions from photoshop for text bubbles, paneling, special effects etc.

2. The templates in Hero Oh Hero are all self made, I do reuse self-made assets as much as possible to lower the workload. (If you look at my 100x objects/items sets you'll probably see a few of them being used in backgrounds in my comic here and there.)

I hope that answers your questions! And thank you a lot. :)

Hello. I love your art, it's really great. I was wondering if it's alright if I use your pixel arts for a project in my game development class and give you credit? The pixels I would like to use are the 100 birds one and the SSB4 one. The game won't be sold or anything, it's just simply for learning purposes and to make the game look nicer. Thanks!

This might be a stupid question, but how do you make your gorgeous pixel art? Is it just mad MS Paint skills?

Edit: Just saw your "Tools of the Trade" category, so nevermind :)
